Simon Libbis – Consultant

In January 2019 the firm of Subdivision Lawyers merged to become a part of Prior Law.

Simon Libbis was the principal of Subdivision Lawyers. Prior to establishing this boutique legal practice he was Executive Director of the National Electronic Conveyancing Office which was a joint government and industry initiative to establish an electronic conveyancing system across Australia. As well as an extensive career as a specialist property lawyer Simon also served as the Registrar-General of South Australia for some years.

In 1994 Simon was among the first legal practitioners accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as property law specialists. He is the author of a number of publications including Conveyancing Victoria – The Ultimate Guide and Subdivisions Victoria – The Ultimate Guide.

Simon works part time from Prior Law’s McKinnon Office.
