In March 2018 the firm of Jim McCarthy Lawyers merged to become a part of Prior Law. Jim has been a legal practitioner in the McKinnon area since 1974 and was the principal of his own practice in McKinnon since 1982.

Jim now practices predominately in the area of Wills, Estates and Business Law

Jim practices three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from Prior Law’s East McKinnon office, which is where he has been based since the 80s.
